JVC unleashes its new camcorder that also works as a camera, or a camera that also works as a camcorder. We are just as confused.
Anyway, the JVC GC-PX10 features a long-barreled lens attached to a
slender body. It can shoot video at up to 1080p resolution at 60 frames
per second and capture photos at 8.3 megapixels even while in video
mode.
Users can switch into still-shooting mode, which enables the
device to capture 12-megapixel pictures at 30 frames per second for two
seconds. For video enthusiasts who are into slow motion, the JVC
GC-PX10 can record video in 640 x 360 resolution at 300 frames per
second for up to two hours. These image and video files can be saved to
the SDXC card or in the device’s 32GB internal memory.
The JVC GC-PX10 will be shipped beginning later in October, with an asking price of $900.
